WILL MALAYSIAN VOTE ACCORDING TO SKIN COLORS?

Charles Santiago, DAP

Ch'ng Toh Eng, BN(MCA)

The coming 12th General Election will see a contest between DAP and BN (MCA) candidates in Klang, Selangor, with racial breakdown of Malay: 33.5%, Chinese: 47.1%, Indian: 18.6%, Others: 0.9%. The contest here will see how Malaysian in Klang will vote. Will they vote according to skin colors? DAP is a multi-racial base while MCA is a Chinese base. Anyway, for me......

NICE QUOTE

I found somewhere a very meaningful comments:-

Members of Barisan National parties must understand that it is not disloyal to vote in a stronger opposition to check abuses in the govt. Though one may love BN, one has to love the country, Malaysia more. As Brutus has said, ‘It is not that I love Ceasar less but I love Rome more’.

So likewise, we level-headed Malaysians must realise that we do not love our political party less but that we love our country more when we vote have a stronger opposition to keep a check on the government.

I came across a phrase which has same meaning in 'The Sound of Music', but I can't recall now......

HIBISCUS DRINKS

It has been quite some time that I did not post any photo of produce of Gary's Garden. Reason being that there was no new addition of plant that I can share. For this post, I decided to bring back some of flowers to all you. Someone introduced me that I can make use of the hibiscus flowers to make drinks that has 'antioxidants' value, which is good for our health. You can try to find out more on this antioxidant thing by using google search. One of it that I found was a Fact Sheet by US National Cancer Institute titled 'Antioxidants and Cancer Prevention: Fact Sheet' (http://www.cancer.gov/cancertopics/factsheet/antioxidantsprevention). All you need to do is to boil the hibiscus flowers after thorough cleaning, let it cool, then chill it in a freezer, then squeeze some lime into it when you decide to taste it. By squeezing lime into it will make the hibiscus drink into maroon red colour (ie, like Ribena). I have been consuming this drinks for quite some time now, and the effect, so far so good.

TOK GURU - THIS GUY IS FANTASTIC

You believe this guy can do Chinese Calligraphy? This gentleman is non other than Menteri Besar (ie Chief Minister) of Kelantan, Malaysia, Dato Nik Aziz. He is also the chief of PAS. PAS has ruled Kelantan for a few decades, the only state in Malaysia ruled by an opposition party. I read before a news that Dato Nik Aziz let flood victims to stay at his official residence. This kind gestures really impressed me and it is hard to find these days.

What is the reason for this long rule? Perhaps you want to find out more from http://kickdefella.wordpress.com

Kelantanese cannot be wrong for choosing PAS, right? Find out for your own.

The words he wrote here means MODERATE in Chinese. Come to think of it, MODERATE is definitely the word we should have in mind. It should be the yardstick for our way of life.
