In conjunction with Visit Malaysia Year 2007, a flora festival float procession was held last week in Putrajaya, the new administrative capital of Malaysia. Not to lag behind, Gary's Garden flowers are blooming now just in time with the Flora Festival of Malaysia.
The concept of Gary's Garden is simple, that is no insecticide, pesticide or chemical substances that would harm the nature. Gary's Garden lets ecology strikes its balance. We propagate loves to nature as we believe if we are kind to nature, nature will be kind to us and there will be lesser natural disasters. For those who wish to participate with Gary's Garden, please leave messages before leaving this site. 山河园艺提倡对大自然的爱.

PADI FIELD OF TANJUNG KARANG, SELANGOR, MALAYSIA
Sometime, I prefer to use the old roads instead of the tolled highways / expressways when going for holidays. It is not because I am not willing to pay for the tolls, but instead it is because you can see more things using old roads. For instance, you are able to buy 'Air Nira' (liquid extracted from coconut flowers), see the kampung (village) lifestyle, stop by to buy local fruits and see nice scenery along the way.
One of the scene is the Tanjung Karang padi field, which co-incidentally is the kampung of a blogger friend's wife.

EYE ON MALAYSIA, LAUNCHING OF VISIT MALAYSIA YEAR 2007
Using Ulead Cool360 to join up the photos, my camera len is not wide enough
Gary's Garden decided to make a trip to Eye On Malaysia, which was assembled at record time in time for the launching of VISIT MALAYSIA YEAR 2007. Whether is it appropriate to have Eye On Malaysia or not, is depending on each individual's opinion and it is pointless to debate / argue on its appropriateness. What is important for us Malaysia is to ensure the utmost safety of the users of it and 'tidak apa' attitude should not play a part in operating it.
So, lets us Malaysian helps the government to make the EYE ON MALAYSIA a success, in particular, and VISIT MALAYSIA 2007 in general.
When we were there, there were huge crowd lining up under canvas canopy to reach to the ticket booths and at the same time, fireworks and water skiing were in display. The shortcoming is that we are unable to enjoy the fireworks and the skiing display to the fullest while lining up for the tickets due to the fact that the canopy is not transparent. Maybe and perhaps the organiser should have more efficient ticketing system to correct this shortcoming or else money spent on these displays cannot be benefited to the fullest.

FIRST DAY OF 2007, 新年的第一天
Time really passes so fast. Just a clip of eyes, another new year begin. Well, this shows that 'time' wait for no one and if we do not use it to the fullest, another day will just passing by. What to do? We are unable to go back to the point which were passed but have to look forward and improve ourselves further so that we are of value in our lifetime. Past events were or were not in our favour, but they definitely were lessons that we experienced through our own self.
Also, to my friends who lost their 'Watson' a few days ago, recall and recollect the happy moments that you had with Watson. Nothing is permanent in this world, we believe there is life after death.
Happy New Year to all of you.

You can see this tortoise in Penang Hibiscus & Orchid Garden, Bukit Jambul
Charcoal Steamboat at Goh Huat Seng, Penang, Malaysia.
Ferringhi Garden, Penang, Malaysia. Definitely a place worth visiting
我们诚心的祝福中国四会的朋友一家庭有个顺利安康的新一年. 谢谢你们寄托给我们的礼物.
Overall, the year 2006 was a challenging year for Gary's Garden. Fortunately, we were able to face the challenges and all turn out fine. Well, life is like that, always full of challenges and we are unable to escape them, but need to face with guts and courages.
In addition, on a more relax note, we visited nice places like Melaka, Impiana Cherating and Penang. These places have their own uniqueness. Melaka is a historical city, Impiana Chearating is special with its beaches, shells, seafood etc, Penang is famous with its hawker food, Gurney Drive, Batu Ferringhi, Kimberly Street, Bukit Tambun seafood (at mainland of Penang) etc.
We post here with some photos taken during Penang trip. One of them is 'Steamboat' dinner at Goh Huat Seng and the other is Ferringhi Garden. We really enjoyed the cosy setting at Ferringhi Garden. It is a place worth visiting.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL, WHEREVER U ARE
Leaning Clock Tower, Teluk Intan, Perak, Malaysia
Just couldn't sleep well and decided to post my thought before it slips my mind. Just imagine if all of us are of the same 'faith', what will happen? Will the world be more peaceful and a better place to live at?
I don't think so. In fact, the world will be a dull place to stay, everyone of us will be celebrating the same festivals. Life will thus become more 'monotonous' than what we are having now. With different faiths, there are Christmas, Chinese New Year, Hari Raya, Deepavali and so on and get more holidays, hehe.
So, why bother what faith a person belong to so long as he / she is no harm to you and me? We can still be friends / relatives even we are of different faiths. So, why wasting time fighting over religious issue? For now, let celebrate Christmas. Merry Christmas to all, wherever you are.
Posted here are some photos of my recent trip to Penang and detour to Teluk Intan (formerly Teluk Anson during colonial days). One of them is photo of 'leaning clock tower of Teluk Intan. I was told this tower was built by a Chinese businessman in honour of his beloved wife.

GARY'S GARDEN, A GARDEN FULL OF LIES?

So, the lesson learned here is "comments / judgements on matters shouldn't be based on our perception, it should be based on facts"

Gary's Garden is expecting VVIPs tomorrow. We welcome these VVIPs with open arms. We are sure they will discover more about Gary's Garden physically instead of just visiting through this website. But before that, just let you know the existing visitors to Gary's Garden. The story is................
WE again attracts visitors as these creatures feel secured in our garden. Now the garden is at its prime and we welcome visitors to share the fruits of our labour. Harming of these creatures is not the way we groom our garden, instead, we share.
